Introduction of Tea

• When tasting tea, you are supposed to slurp. This is especially true when drinking Pu-Erh tea as this aerates the tea, provides better contact with the taste buds and intensifies the flavours.
• It takes around 2000 small tea plant leaves to create one pound of finished black tea.
• High levels of antioxidants in tea slow the absorption of caffeine, this results in a more gradual release of caffeine into the body’s system. It also means we are alert for a longer period and there is no resulting caffeine crash at the end.
