- It takes around 2000 small tea plant leaves to create one pound of finished black tea.
- High levels of antioxidants in tea slow the absorption of caffeine, this results in a more gradual release of caffeine into the body’s system. It also means we are alert for a longer period and there is no resulting caffeine crash at the end.
